ADK Classrom

Here is my initial blog for this course. I have been looking forword to this course as it is a chance for me to break the routine in life. In teaching I always try to utilize the outdoors as much as possible. Sometimes my class and I go outside just for a change in scenary while reading, other times we use it for inspiration in our writing or for gathering data for science. I feel that this class will help me develop stronger and better ideas on how to incorporate the outdoors in my everyday teaching. Older teachers that I work with let me know that they think I just take the children out to "play" everyday, yet we seem to get the same things accomplished that their classroom does. Well I guess that is it for the initial blog see everyone on Sunday.
